Are you ready to push your limits, explore one of the world’s most stunning landscapes, and make a real difference?

40tude’s next Adventure Challenge is set to be a ‘Wild Highland Odyssey’ - an unforgettable adventure taking in Sri Lanka's rugged ridgelines, lush rainforests, and tea plantations, all in support of the earlier detection of colon cancer.

Cover 80+km of tough terrain and experience the raw beauty of the Central Highlands as we honour the legacy of our much-missed Ambassador, the rugby legend Tom Smith - a champion of 40tude’s mission.

Trek highlights include:

  • Conquer the legendary V-shaped mountain pass known locally as 'Jacob's Ladder' – easier said than done!
  • Descend the 14km 'Devil's Staircase' - put your knees to work as you descend a trail of steep and sharp zig-zag twists
  • See the country's highest waterfall, Bambarakanda Falls
  • Discover the incredible flora and fauna diversity in the UNESCO-listed Horton Plains National Park
  • Get off the beaten track in areas untouched by tourism, and experience plenty of warm Sri Lankan hospitality

Enjoy the sacred views of Adam's Peak, spiritually revered by Buddhists, Hindus, Christians, and Muslims.

Every step will make a difference, supporting the aims of 40tude.

In joining this challenge, we ask that you commit to raising £5,000 per person through sponsorship or personal contributions, which will be directed to 40tude’s Tom Smith Screening Fund, supporting our Half:Time Test initiative enabling more people to get tested for colon cancer from the age of 45.
