Our News Riviera renews Half:Time Test offer We’re delighted that Riviera Travel is once again adopting 40tude’s Half:Time Test Campaign for its employees this year. Riviera was one of the first organisations to launch the initiative in 2025, helping to raise awareness of the importance of getting tested for colon cancer, and offering its employees aged 45–49, who are not yet eligible for the National Bowel Screening Programme, the opportunity to take a qFIT test. A qFIT (Quantitative Faecal Immunochemical Test) checks for hidden blood in stool. It’s a simple, at‑home test: you simply collect a small sample and post it to a laboratory for analysis. 40tude has selected Selph, a well-regarded provider of at-home health tests, to provide these tests for its innovative programme. Following last year’s successful rollout, Riviera has partnered with 40tude again to relaunch the scheme this April marking Bowel Cancer Awareness Month. “At Riviera we consider ourselves one big family, and caring for each other is central to our ethos,” says George Hansen, Talent, Learning & Development Partner at Riviera Travel. “Awareness of colon cancer is vital, as early detection can make all the difference. We wanted our team to know the symptoms to look out for and to make testing accessible for colleagues aged 45–49, who are not yet eligible for the NHS screening programme. 40tude’s Half:Time Test Campaign is simple to share and was so well received by all our colleagues last year that offering it again in 2026 was an easy decision.” Would your organisation like to take part in this potentially life-saving initiative?
