Congratulations to Bea Mills who completed a Half Marathon on Easter Sunday in support of 40tude, winning the accolade of our first official runner for 2026!

Bea successfully ran the Putney & Fulham Half Marathon on 5th April, raising both awareness and funds for 40tude.

"I chose to run in support of 40tude, a charity close to a dear friend of mine: the Moore to my Mills," explains Bea.

"40tude is working to raise awareness for regular testing of colon (bowel) cancer. Colon cancer is the UK’s biggest cancer killer of non-smokers, but it can be treated if detected at an early stage. By continuing to raise awareness for its symptoms and how to get regular testing, we really can save lives.

"This run is really about sharing how important it is to go get yourself and loved ones tested. So pang på rödbetan! (Don’t beat around the bush, as they say in Sweden)."
