Our News Silverson Machines adopts 40tude’s Half:Time campaign We’re delighted that Silverson Machines is the first this year to join 40tude’s exciting new campaign, enabling more people to get tested for colon (bowel) cancer at a younger age. Silverson has partnered with 40tude to roll out our ‘Half:Time Test’ Campaign to its staff, raising awareness of how important it is to get tested from the mid-point (or ‘Half:Time’) in your life. This month the company is offering all its employees over the age of 45 the opportunity to take a qFIT colon cancer test – a test that can be easily taken at home and simply posted to a laboratory for analysis. “We’re delighted to have subscribed to 40tude’s Half:Time Test initiative and to be raising vital awareness about colon cancer amongst our employees,” says Alan Pepper, Head of Manufacturing at Silverson Machines. “We first became aware of this innovative campaign after our colleague David Rothman took part in 40tude’s Namibia Challenge in late 2025.
