The Royal Dash Team complete their epic challenge

We're grateful to good friends of 40tude, Stuart Thom and Budge Pountney and their team of fellow rugby players and friends who have completed The Royal Dash - another epic challenge in support of 40tude, this time based in Northern Ireland.   

The group of 14  included 6 rugby legends: Rob Henderson, Budge Pountey, Iwan Tukalo, Simon Danielli, Nigel Carr and Paddy Johns. The team cycled 141 miles in 13 hours, starting at 6am from Royal Portrush Golf Club, heading first to Royal County Down before  finishing at The Royal Belfast Golf Club.

The team were raising awareness and funds for charities close to the hearts of their much-missed friends and former teammates, the rubgy legends Doddie Weir and Tom Smith, with the funds directed to the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, the Motor Neurone Association as well as 40tude.
