What's on 40tude Challenges 40tude's Slovenia 2026 Cycle Challenge We’re excited that Slovenia will be our destination of choice for our 2026 cycle challenge! Slovenia is nestled between Italy, Austria and Croatia and is renowned for its stunning scenery, including the famous glacial Lake Bled and picturesque Julian Alps. The professionals Tadej Pogačar and Primož Roglič both proudly fly its flag. Our tour will take place between 9th-13th September 2026 and will begin in the capital Ljubljana, located almost in the middle of Slovenia and from where you can enjoy the very best cycling the country has to offer in just a few days. The Triglav National Park in the north west corner of Slovenia is generally considered to be the most dramatic part of the country and it is at the heart of our event. Along the way you can enjoy views of Lake Bled, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as routes through high mountain passes and on beautiful valley roads, taking in the rolling hills and other stunning scenery, in addition to some history too! Our tour will finish in Trieste, just over the border in north east Italy. Once again this ride will be led by the expert team at PIE and will follow the usual successful formula of three route options a day, each of different difficulties; guided riding; support vehicles; medics; a minimum of three food and drink stops a day, post-ride food, excellent evening meals and accommodation; finish celebrations; and of course, fantastic cycling with fellow 40tuders!
