We're delighted that Riviera Travel has now launched 40tude's exciting new Half:Time Test initiative, raising awareness of the importance of getting tested for colon cancer, as well as offering its employees aged between 45-49, who are not yet eligible for the National Bowel Screening Programme, the opportunity to take a qFIT colon cancer test.

A qFIT (Quantitative Faecal Immunochemical Test) detects hidden blood in stool. It's a simple test that can be done at home by collecting a small sample which you then post to a laboratory for analysis. 40tude has selected Selph, a well-regarded provider of at-home health tests, to provide these tests for its innovative programme.

"At Riviera Travel, we know that behind every great business are real people, with families, futures, and lives beyond the workplace," says the team at Riviera.

"That’s why we’ve partnered with 40tude to offer free colon cancer screening to our colleagues aged 45-49. This age group isn’t yet eligible for NHS testing, but early detection can make all the difference: over 90% of cases are treatable when caught early.

"The Half:Time Test is a simple, at-home kit analysed in an NHS-accredited lab - the same test used in the national screening programme. By making it available now, we’re helping our team take proactive steps for their health and peace of mind.

"Because looking after our people isn’t just a policy - it’s part of who we are."
